Power Supply Demands: Unit is designed and built with a variable compressor. Unit will increase BTU output as ambient temp exceeds set temperature. As ambient temp reaches set temp, the compressor will reduce frequency and power draw. If you prefer to operate with power savings, common practice is to set the unit temp near cabin ambient temp. Reducing fan speed will further reduce consumption.

- Below numbers are at max compressor speed. Variable compressor will auto reduce frequency, reducing power consumption lower than below figures.

To best maintain efficient operation, we recommend using lithium-ion batteries (LiFePO4) to maintain a consistent operating voltage. Standard Lead Acid batteries typically experience a more drastic voltage drop during discharge which will reduce the efficiency of the system.
- If using a battery outside of proper operating voltage, a voltage boost converter must be installed in between the battery and the AC unit. (Make sure to select the appropriate voltage Kit at checkout)
- An alternative option is to use a 24V Lithium battery direct to the air conditioner while utilizing a DC to DC charger, charging from your stock house battery.
